    POSITION TITLE:       Dealer Financial Services (DFS) Coordinator


    REPORTS TO:                       Manager, Dealer Financial Services




    DFS Coordinator position is a job that has many tasks and responsibilities involved. The main daily tasks are the Financing requests for new or used units, Reports, Acura Courtesy Cars and adjustments. Some of the tasks involved directly or indirectly affect other associates in Dealer Financial Services or in other departments, e.g. Honda Canada and dealers.



    • Prepare and submit New Business/financing requests, by reviewing documentation received from the dealer and updating the system accordingly, in order to ensure timely processing of dealer payments
    • Updating inventory status by downloading audit and system reports and entering the required data into the wholesale system within 24 hours to ensure inventory is accurately reported and to minimize potential risk
    • Administer Courtesy Car program by receiving courtesy car requests from Acura dealers, and updating the system and related spreadsheets accordingly in order to maintain the Acura courtesy car portfolio for Acura Canada, and to help enhance the Acura brand
    • Maintain Demo-logs by reconciling audits, updating the system and maintaining spreadsheets with current and accurate information in order to ensure authorized demonstrator vehicles are controlled and associated risk is minimized
    • Assist in dealer account maintenance by preparing, processing wholesale adjustments, cheque requisitions, write-off’s and flat cancellations to ensure accurate dealer account reconciliation
    • Provide excellent customer service to our dealer network by answering and responding to dealer inquires to ensure a positive DSI is maintained, and to promote HCFI products and services



    • University Degree in Business, or relevant discipline required
    • 4 years of Business experience is required preferably in wholesale inventory financing environment
    • Must entail excellent organization and administrative, interpersonal, and analytical skills
    • Aptitude for initiative, integrity, leadership and acute attention to detail and accuracy
    • Ability to prioritize conflicting demands, multitask, and work in a fast-paced team environment
    • Must entail strong problem-solving, organization, and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to work autonomously as well as works well in a team environment
    • Must entail strong mathematical aptitude
    • Intermediate level PC skills and proficient in Windows and MS Office, Excel, and PowerPoint
    • Bilingual in English/French an asset

    • Develops and maintains good working relationships within Honda North America as well as all other internal and external stakeholders
    • Develop, establish and maintain good working relationship with Honda North America suppliers, partners, consultants, stakeholders and other network contacts
